TimeTap
Support
TimeTap is a game of pure timing. You get a target time, the clock starts and immediately hides, and you tap to stop as close to that target as you can — counting it out in your head.
I can't hear any sound.
TimeTap respects your ringer switch — if your phone is set to silent, the game stays silent too. Flip the switch on the side of your device, and check that Sound & haptics is on under Settings in the app.
The background music isn't playing.
If another app was already playing audio when you opened TimeTap — a podcast or a playlist — the game deliberately holds its own music back rather than talking over it. You can turn Music on manually under Settings in the app at any time.
My round reset by itself.
A round in progress is abandoned whenever the app leaves the screen — a call, the app switcher, or locking the phone. The timer keeps running in the background, so any tap after that wouldn't be a real result. Just tap START again on the same target.
How do I get on the global leaderboards?
Sign in to Game Center on your device, then open Ranks in the app. Global and Friends boards are optional — the local board works whether or not you sign in.
How do I reset my scores?
Local scores live only on your device, so deleting and reinstalling the app clears them. Game Center scores are managed by Apple in your Game Center profile.
Does TimeTap work offline?
Completely. Unless you choose to sign in to Game Center, the app makes no network connections at all.
